Task 8. Problem solving.
Read the conversation. Julia is talking to her friend Anna about her options for the future. Answer the questions: Why does Julia need advice? What are her first two options?
Julia: Anna, I still don’t know what to do about my future. I need your help.
Anna: OK. Well, why don’t you tell me about the different options? Then we can talk about them.
Julia: Yes, right. Well, it’s not too late to change my mind and stay at MAP Advertising. If I stay, I won’t have to look for another job. I’ll also be able to work with people that I like. The second possibility is to go to Germany. Karl is sure I’ll be able to find a job there. If I go to Germany, I’ll earn more money. On the other hand, I’ll miss my friends.
Anna: OK. Have you got any other options?
